Ancestral File gives date and place of birth:
1596 Of, Norwich, Norfolk, England
"The Brooks Family of Woburn, MA," NEHGR gives place of birth:
Great Ormsby, Norfolkshire, England
"The Brooks Family of Woburn, MA" NEHGR says:
He married JOANNA THOMPSON in 1628 in England. She was born in England, and died after 27 Mar 1663 in Woburn, MA.
John Mousall settled in 1634 in Charlestown, Middlesex Co., MA. He and his wife joined the church there on 23 Aug 1634. He was made Freeman on 3 Sep 1634, and was a Representative for Charlestown to the General Court in 1635.
JOHN MOUSALL was born about 1595 in England since his age in 1658 was given as about 63.[3] In ref [1] his place of birth is given as Great Ormsby, Norfolkshire. He died on 27 Mar 1663[1/v58p49], or 1665[2][3] in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA.
He married JOANNA THOMPSON in 1628 in England.[1/v58p59]. She was born in England[ibid], and died after 27 Mar 1663 in Woburn.[ibid]
John Mousall settled in 1634 in Charlestown, Middlesex Co., MA. He and his wife joined the church there on 23 Aug 1634. He was made Freeman on 3 Sep 1634, and was a Representative for Charlestown to the General Court in 1635.[2]
Cutter doesn't dwell on John's history prior to his arrival in Woburn and recommends "Wyman's "Charlestown", p. 692" for details of his life in Charlestown.[3]
John Mousall Sr was the third signer out of 32 on the original 1640 town orders for the founding of Woburn and the house he built for himself and family in 1641 was the first house erected within the 1893 boundries of the town. Edward Converse having erected the first house within the original boundries. [3][*] Did the original boundries exceed the town's boundries in 1893?
John Mousall's homestead in Woburn contained about 40 acres. The north-east line of his property which was situated next to the meeting house bounded on the town highway. To his east was the property of John Brooks and to his south-east were Jabez Brooks, John Brooks, and Ephraim Buck. His south-west boundry ran along the "King's highway".[3]
John was a member of the Church at Charlestown and was one of the seven members of that church who formed the Church at Woburn at its first gathering on 24 August 1642. John was chosen as one of the two original Deacons of the Woburn church and remained a Deacon until his death in 1665. John was also made a selectman in Woburn when they were first chosen and was returned to that position each year for 21 years.[3]
When John Mousall died he was survived by his wife Joanna and both his children, John Jr. and Eunice who was married to John Brooks.
His Will was dated "the 19th of ye 4th month, 1660" and was probated on 4 April 1665.[3] He made bequests to his wife, children, grandchildren. He terms his son John Jr, and his son-in-law John Brooks as "my two sons". He bequeaths a cow and a sheep to John Brooks specifically directing that they were earmarked to provide for the furnishing of a "new room" which had been built onto Brooks' house. This new room being intended for his widow Joanna who was "to have a peacable living in it providing she stay in it.' He also provided for two servants or perhaps an apprentice in the case of EPHRAIM BUCK, who would have been 14 years old at the time the Will will was written. In that provision he states, that Ephraim Buck and Hannah Leppingwell were each to have "a ewe lamb, at or before the end of their time, provided they carry it respectfully to my wife". In 1670 Ephraim Buck married John's grand-daughter SARAH BROOKS. Since Sarah was only eight at the time the will was prepared its doubtful if her grandfather had any inkling she would eventually marry Ephraim Buck.[3]
John disposed of the two houses upon his property, giving half shares in the newest to John Mousall Jr. and John Brooks., as he did also the "great Meadow", and the "rest of his lands" not already assigned. He reserved for his wife Joanna one third of the "fruit of the orchard for her life", and "the little hemp yard and garden the back side of the [old] house". Also to Joanna went "...two of my best cows and two ewe sheep, and my executors are to keep these cows and sheep for her, winter and summer, so long as she liveth, and all her firewood and four pounds a year to be paid by my executors, either in money or corn."[3]
He appointed as executors of his estate "my brother James Thompson, and Allen Converse".[3]
In the inventory of his estate he was styled as "John Mousall, senior, Deacon of the Church of Christ at Woburne, deceased,". His estate was valued at 200 Pounds.[3]
CHILDREN:
1. John Mousall, was born probably in England, and died on 2 April 1698[3] He married Sarah Brooks on 13 May 1650.[3] While her date of death isn't mentioned in the Woburn records Cutter concluded she probably died prior to 1706.[3]

CHILDREN:
1. John Mousall, was born probably in England, and died on 2 April 1698[3] He married Sarah Brooks on 13 May 1650.[3] While her date of death isn't mentioned in the Woburn records Cutter concluded she probably died prior to 1706.[3]
2. EUNICE MOUSALL
Notes:
* - Cutter adds that a description of the house including its location, physical appearance and a partial history was given in his work "Woburn Historic Sites and Old Houses", Woburn, 1892. I exchange data with people who have a interlocking marriage
into any surnames that interlocks into any of the branches
of my families.I started when I was 10 years old now 68years.
I am sharing my data in the interest of collaborative research.
I do this to help people to find there lineages and to fill
the pedigree charts.
I have not personally researched all families listed; dates
and information are subject to verification. Not responsible
for typographical errors misplaced citations. Missing
sources/references are because of my learning curve, not my
intention. You are encouraged to seek further documention
for your own confirmation.Further I have no control what
other people include about their families in any of the
data that they exchange.
If there are no dates about the living, then the computers
can not determine if the person is alive or deceased.
The sites set the living anywhere from 75 to 100 years
depending on the laws of the countries that they are in.
When I exchange with lineages the living are sometime shown
depending on who you are exchanging with, but my
request is that,if you update any of my data to the
internet, you also set the do not show the living, before
you update to the internet.
Also place in the source your contact email
address, and the lineage, so people can contact you
reqarding your update.
I have no claim to owning the data, except that which is
my immediate lineage, and even that is worked on by many
members of my family lineages. It is only as good as what
people put into it,that exchange with me. So look
in the notes of the genealogy for origin, if they put it
there,or the source.
If you are going to correct, update or put new branches on the
lineage your are inquirying about, please do not add from what
I have sent you,(This just duplicates how many more people
I have to find in the duplicates and merge them, edit your
notes to ensure that there is nothing there that you do not
want published.
Also do not submit information on copyrights that invades the
privacy of others especially for a relative that has not given
you permission to publish same.
Remember nothing is carved in stone except time.
The best way for me to describe the relationship, is for
example if you have 6,000 people in your data base
that are connected via interlocking marriages, and
you find that you have a marriage that is interlocked into
one of my people in my data base, then they are related
via interlocking marriages, does not matter how distant.
The difference here is that the interlocking into my data
base would link to over 631,749 people via interlocking
marriages.
My hobby is working on interlocking marriages,to any
family surname that is in my data, and I exchange with
people to find them, and to assist them in finding lineage
that link into their families.

people to find them, and to assist them in finding lineage
that link into their families.

Note: first married Elvira Neal and had two children, the first being Henry O. Randall. It is not known when Elvira died but she was not in the 1860 census but the names of the children there were: Oscar H. age 13, Ellen M. age 9 and Eugene A. Randall, age 1 year. It may be that Oscar/Henry and Ellen M. wee children of the first marriage and that Eugene was a son by a second marriage. It would appear that the second wife also died, perhaps in childbirth ???

The best way for me to describe the relationship, is for
example if you have 6,000 people in your data base
that are connected via interlocking marriges, and
you find that you have a marriage that is interlocked into
one of my people in my data base, then they are related
via interlocking marriages, does not matter how distant.
The difference here is that the interlocking into my data
base would link to over 724,091 people via interlocking
marriages.
My hobby is working on interlocking marriages,to any
family surname that is in my data, and I exchange with
people to find them, and to assist them in finding lineage
that link into their families.

Excerpts from "It All Started", an autobrigraphy by Mary Lou Montgomery "O'Brien, Obie's wife;
"Harold Kenneth "Obie" O'Brien was born December 17, 1909 in Kingston, Illinois. His mother was Maude Lillian Moyers and his father was John William "Jack" O'Brien. At the time of his birth he had two sisters, Beulah, born Dec. 27, 1903 and Berneldine, born July 4, 1906. His brother, Boyd, was born July 5, 1911 and another sister, Anna, on December 30, 1913.
Maude O'Brien's parents were John and Nancy (Goble) Moyers. Maude had three older brothers, Leslie, Boyd and Bert. She was born August 20, 1879. John "Jack" O'Brien's parents were William (born in County Tipperary, Ireland) and Johanna (Dohorty) O'Brien (born in Wigan England.) "Jack" was born in Wigan on September 18, 1868 and emigrated to the U.S.A. with his parents in 1869. He had two sisters who died in infancy and a younger brother, Joseph.
When Harold "Obie" O'Brien was eleven months old he was stricken with infantile paralysis, known today as polio. In those days not much could be done for polio. One thing they tried was "mud baths". I believe he spent some time in a sanitarium as a small boy. I have pictures of a wheelchair, and of him with a cane or crutches. Also, one with brother Boyd, standing on their heads! I know that Boyd would pull him to school in their little wagon. I don't know how old he was when he was first fitted for leg braces, but he wore a full one on his left leg and one up to his knee on his right leg for the rest of his life.
I also know that he grew up surrounded by love and discipline and music. Jack played the violin and trumpet, Maude played the mandolin, and they both sang in the church choir. Obie was taught to play the piano, but didn't like to practice, so his mom gave him the choice of practicing or washing dishes and he chose to wash dishes. He also learned to play the trumpet and he really loved that! He gained a reputation in Sycamore, Illinois (where the family now lived), DeKalb, and the Fox River Valley for his fine jazz trumpet and his improvisation. Unfortunately, his father didn't live to know of this. Jack contracted pneumonia and, complicated by spinal meningitis, passed away on March 5, 1923. Jack was only 54 years old and Obie was just 13. In High School his music teacher took an interest in him, helping to steer him to a career in music. He graduated from Sycamore High in 1928 and then took several music courses at Northern Illinois Teachers College in DeKalb.
I don't know what early groups he played with, but he often mentioned going to Harbor Springs, Michigan, several summers with Jerry Glidden's Orchestra. Other ones were Orrin Tucker at the Spanish TeaRoom in Naperville, Illinois and Carl Stetzel at the Log Cabin Ballroom at the Fairgrounds in North Aurora. The first time I met Obie he had played a job with my brother Bob (drummer), and came home with him to sleep. I was working at Fisher's bakery and it was Saturday and I came home for lunch. When they came down stairs Bob introduced us and Obie offered me a ride back to work. This was in the summer of 1932.
The next time I saw Obie was at the racetrack at the Fairgrounds. We met just by chance and we said, "Hi" and not much else. Then, in 1933, IT ALL STARTED."
BODY DONATED TO SCIENCE AT DEATH.
