General Notes: Husband - Anthony Taylor
I exchange data with people who have a interlocking marriage
into any surnames that interlocks into any of the branches
of my families.I started when I was 10 years old now 68years.
I am sharing my data in the interest of collaborative research.
I do this to help people to find there lineages and to fill
the pedigree charts.
I have not personally researched all families listed; dates
and information are subject to verification. Not responsible
for typographical errors misplaced citations. Missing
sources/references are because of my learning curve, not my
intention. You are encouraged to seek further documention
for your own confirmation.Further I have no control what
other people include about their families in any of the
data that they exchange.
If there are no dates about the living, then the computers
can not determine if the person is alive or deceased.
The sites set the living anywhere from 75 to 100 years
depending on the laws of the countries that they are in.
When I exchange with lineages the living are sometime shown
depending on who you are exchanging with, but my
request is that,if you update any of my data to the
internet, you also set the do not show the living, before
you update to the internet.
Also place in the source your contact email
address, and the lineage, so people can contact you
reqarding your update.
I have no claim to owning the data, except that which is
my immediate lineage, and even that is worked on by many
members of my family lineages. It is only as good as what
people put into it,that exchange with me. So look
in the notes of the genealogy for origin, if they put it
there,or the source.
If you are going to correct, update or put new branches on the
lineage your are inquirying about, please do not add from what
I have sent you,(This just duplicates how many more people
I have to find in the duplicates and merge them, edit your
notes to ensure that there is nothing there that you do not
want published.
Also do not submit information on copyrights that invades the
privacy of others especially for a relative that has not given
you permission to publish same.
Remember nothing is carved in stone except time.
The best way for me to describe the relationship, is for
example if you have 6,000 people in your data base
that are connected via interlocking marriages, and
you find that you have a marriage that is interlocked into
one of my people in my data base, then they are related
via interlocking marriages, does not matter how distant.
The difference here is that the interlocking into my data
base would link to over 631,749 people via interlocking
marriages.
My hobby is working on interlocking marriages,to any
family surname that is in my data, and I exchange with
people to find them, and to assist them in finding lineage
that link into their families.

General Notes: Child - Josiah Wallis
"Ancient North Yarmouth and Yarmouth, Maine 1639-1936, A History", by William Hutchinson Rowe, on p.42, mentions a Nathaniel Wallis as one of several inhabitants of North Yarmouth who, in 1687-1688, was granted a land warrant by Sir Edmund Andros, Governor of Massachusetts. I have not yet ascertained how, or even if, Nathaniel was related to Josiah.

Wife Hecuba Phrygia

1 M Helenus
Born: Baptized: Died: Buried:
General Notes: Husband - Priam King Troy
Being the only son of Laomedon to survive a war against Heracles, he was r
ansomed by his sister Hesione, and he became the new king of Troy.
His first wife was Arisbe, daughter of Merops, king of Percote. They h
ad a son, Aesacus, who was a gifted seer. Priam soon married Hecuba, daugh
ter of Dymas. With Hecuba, he became father of Hector, Paris, Cassandra, H
elenus and many other children (some say as many as fifty, by some other w
omen as well as Hecuba).
Before Paris was born, Hecuba had a vision, and the seer interpreted th
at vision, saying that Paris would one-day causes the destruction of Tro
y. Priam had his second son by Hecuba, exposed in the wild.
During his early reign, Priam was ally of Mygdonians and fought against t
he Amazons. The Amazons later becamehis ally, when he purified Penthesile
ia for killing her sister in hunting trip. Penthesileia led the Amazo
ns in the last year of the Trojan War, where she was killed at the han
ds of Achilles.
Years later, Paris returned to Troy and was recognised. Their parents h
ad forgotten the warning by the seer (possibly Aesacus) and welcome him ho
me.
When three goddesses asked Paris to judgeand award the golden apple to t
he fairest goddess, he awarded the apple to goddess of love, Aphrodite. Ap
hrodite promised him the fairest woman in the world, Helen of Sparta. Th
is would result in the outbreak of war between the Greeks and the Trojans.
Priam would have return Helen, when Greek embassy demanded the return of H
elen to her husband Menelaüs (Menelaus). But Paris prevailed upon his fath
er to refuse. As a result the war lasted for ten years and allbut one s
on would die in the war.
His son, Helenus, also a seer, would be the only son to survive the war. H
ecuba and all his daughters became enslaved to the Greek leaders. Neoptole
mus, son of Achilles, would kill the aged king (Priam) on the last d
ay of the war.
General Notes: Child - Helenus
A Trojan seer. Helenus was the son of Priam, the king of Troy, and Hecub
a. Helenus was the brother of Hector, Paris, Deiphobus and Cassandra.
As a seer, Helenus knew that Troy was doom. Helenus failed to dissuade Par
is from sailingto Sparta to fetch Helen. Helenus seemed to be a good figh
ter, during the war. His role in the Iliad, however, was minor.
According to the Little Iliad and Sophocles' Philoctetes, Odysseus captur
ed Helenus, before Paris' death. It was Helenus who told the Greeks of t
he requirements of winning the war, such as Neoptolemus and Philoctetes wi
th the bow of Heracles was needed at Troy, the bones of Pelops ne
ed to be relocated and stealing the Palladium from the altar of Athena.
In Apollodorus' Epitome, Helenus was captured after Paris' death. It was C
alchas who foretold that the Greeks needed to fetch Philoctetes and the b
ow of Heracles. See Philoctetes about Odysseus and one of his companions f
etching the bow of Heracles.
Once Philoctetes rejoined the Greeks, healed of his wound, Philoctetes kil
led or mortally wounded Paris with his deadlyarrow.
When Paris died, Helenus and his other brother Deiphoubus contend witho
ne another for the hand of Helen in marriage. When Deiphobus won and marri
ed Helen, Helenus left Troy for Mount Ida.
Odysseus captured Helenus to reveal how Troy may be capture. Helenus was e
asy to persuade, and told the Greeks they Neoptolemus, the son of Achill
es must come and fight at Troy. They also had to bring the bones of Pelo
ps had to Troy for burial. Helenus also told them that Troy could fall unl
ess the Palladium was taken out of the altar of Athena.
When Troy fell, Neoptolemus received Helenus as slave. Andromache, the wid
ow of Hector and sister-in-law of Helenus, became Neoptolemus' concubin
e.Helenus knew that the most of the Greek fleet would be destroyed aft
er the Lesser Ajax had raped his sister Cassandra, at Athena's temple. Hel
enus advised to Neoptolemus to go home by land than sea.
Neoptolemus safely reached his father's home, where he met his grandfath
er (Peleus) for the first time. Rather than taking over the kingdom from P
eleus, at Helenus' suggestion, Neoptolemus went to Epeirus to find his o
wn kingdom.
Helenus lived with Neoptolemus and Andromache, acting more like a close ad
viser than a slave. When Neoptolemus decided to marry Hermione, the daught
er of Menelaus and Helen, the hero setHelenus and Andromache free, whe
re Helenus was allowed to find his own kingdom in Epeirus. When Hermione a
nd her lover, Orestes, murdered Neoptolemus, Helenus took care of Neoptole
mus' sons.
In Virgil's Aeneid, Helenus met Aeneasand his followers, who were looki
ng for a new home. Helenus revealed to Aeneas that his new home wou
ld be in Central Italy.
