Josephine "Jo" Larkin Conway Josephine "Jo" Larkin, age 91, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Agape Senior surrounded by her family. Mrs. Larkin was born in Monticello, Maine, a daughter of the late Bernard and Elsie Hoyt Leavitt. She was a long time resident of the town of Millinocket. She was a member of the Women's Fellowship of the First Congregational Church of Millinocket, Maine as well as the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also served as a member of the Francis E. Elliott VFW Auxiliary and the Millinocket Literary Society. Mrs. Larkin was a devoted grandmother and loved spending time with her family. An avid reader, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking, and watching her hometown high school basketball team. Mrs. Larkin was loved by her community and will always be remembered as a grandmother to the children of her neighborhood. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Francis H. Larkin; one brother, Lawrence Hitchcock; one sister, Ruth Leavitt; and one daughter, Ginger Ann Larkin. Survivors include one son, Robert Larkin and his wife Patsy of North Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Rebecca Wallace and her husband Dennis of Longs, SC; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Kathleen A. Larlee, died at a local health care facility, May 13, 2001. She was born in Perth, New Brunswick, Canada, May 4, 1907, the daughter of Robert and Ida (Armstrong) McCrea.
Kathleen was a charter member of Millinocket Church of the Nazarene of which she remained faithful and loyal. She always enjoyed her home and her flower garden. Kathleen was a good cook, a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Joyce and Donald Lynch of East Millinocket and Shirley and Eugene (Ruth) Albert of Millinocket; six grandchildren, Dawn Bossie, Charles Lynch, Nancy Hodgdon, Robert Lynch, Stephen Albert and Kathy Pelletier; 12 great-grandchildren, Timothy and Tiffany Bossie, Jason, Joshua and Nathan Lynch, Andrew and Kathleen Clark, Jillian and Andrea Lynch, Michelle and Wayne Albert, and Carrissa Pelletier; several nieces and nephews.

MILLINOCKET - Donald Richard Lynch, 84, died July 10, 2011, at a Millinocket hospital. Donald was born Sept. 25, 1926, in Millinocket, son of Stephen and Helen (Lunt) Lunch. Donnie graduated from Stearns High School, class of 1945. He then served in the Military Police in Italy during World War II until his discharge in 1947. He married the love of his life, Joyce (Larlee) Lynch, Aug. 19, 1950. He retired from Great Northern Nekoosa as a maintenance supervisor in 1984 after 41 years of service. He was a member of First Congregational Church UCC, East Millinocket, and a faithful member of the choir for many years, as well as serving on various committees. Donald was also a member of the "Dot and the Has-Beens" singing group. Donald enjoyed playing golf and had a lot of good times with his "golf buddies," Bob MacKenzie, Bud Heal, Don Hendsbee and Jake Brewer. In addition to his wife, Joyce, Donald is survived by four children, Dawn and husband, Mark Bossie, of Houlton, Charles and wife, Julie Lynch, of Hermon, Nancy and husband, Garth Wilbanks, of Winterport and Robert and wife, Barbara Lynch, of Portland; nine beloved grandchildren, Timothy and Tiffany Bossie, Jason, Joshua and Nathan Lynch, Andrew and Kathleen Clark, Jillian and Andrea Lynch; two stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Katie Wilbanks; a sister-in-law, Beverly Lynch; a sister-in-law, Shirley and husband, Eugene "Runt" Albert; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by two brothers, Roland and Paul Lynch; and three sisters, Virginia Michaud, Grace Levasseur and Patricia Grenier.
