"Stone Sloops of Chebeague", chart pp. 102 &112. Page 90 identifies him as captain of the stone sloop "Sally", which hailed from Casco Bay before the 1860s. Page 85 identifies ham as a captain of the stone sloop (sometimes registered as a schooner) "Newcomb", which hailed from Casco Bay until 1881. Page 91 tells us that he was a captain of the stone sloop "Susan Jane", which hailed from Casco Bay until 1878. In 1869 he was listed as the owner of that vessel.

Sir David [Home] of Wedderburn got from his father the lands of Thurrston, and from Archibald Earl of Douglas, a grant of the Barony of Wedderburn in the County of Berwick, and a confirmation of it by the King, in 1413, for his military services, and who also appointed him his scutifer. Died of wounds received from robbers in the Lammermuir Hills of Scotland. He forced Robert Graham, the murdered of King James I from his concealment and brought him for justice.
I had from somewhere Sir David Home was born about 1427.
His father, Sir David Home, would have been 45, not impossible.
He would have been only 5 when his son, Sir George Home, was born in 1432, impossible and obviously wrong.
David [Home] died before his father before 1450, of wounds which he received in a fray with robbers on the Lammermuir Hills. He forced Robert Graham, the murderer of King James I. from his concealment, and brought him to punishment. MSS. Hist.

ANDREW KERR, of Auldtounburn and Cessford, in whose time the fall of the
Douglases, by which the Kerrs became Crown vassals, greatly increased
their influence. In 1451, he had a charter of the King's lands of the
barony of Old Roxburgh. In 1457 he is Warden of the Marches, and
designated "of Cessford". He m 1st a [42200] dau of William Douglas, of
Cavers; 2nd, Margaret, dau. of James Tweedie, of Drummelzier, and had
