Obit-Chillicothe Constitution Tribune, Chillicothe, Missouri Date Unk Aaron M. Allen, 79, dies near Utica. He has farmed in the county since 1931. Aaron Mott Allen, 79, died at 1 o-clock this afternoon at his home, 3 1/2 miles west of Utica. He had been in failing health the last two years and in seriouos condition since last Saturday. He was born Oct 30, 1876 in Worth County, son of Thomas and Mahalley Jones Allen. He lived in Harrison and Gentry counties until 1921, when he moved to Livingston County. He had farmed here since that time. He was a member of the Lone Star (Mo,) Baptist Church. He married Elgin Noble Feb.26, 1903 at Albany, MO. In addition to his wife, he leaves five sons, Harley Allen, Gallatin; Charlesy Allen of the home; Rollie Allen of Peoriao, Ill.; and Vern Allen, Oklahoma City; and and Vern Allen, Chillicothe; two brothers, Harley Allen, New Hampton, Mo., and Virgil Allen, Mortonsville, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs Lydia Snead, Bethany, and Mrs. Maggie Noble, Tarkio, and 10 grandchildren.

I Joseph Jewett of Rowley beinge weake of boddy but perfect in understandinge and memory doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth, Imprimus after my debts beinge payed I desire the rest of my goods may bee equally divided among my seven children, as well those two that I have by my last wyfe, as the five that I had before. Item I doe give unto my sonne Jeremiah Jewett the farm I bought of Joseph Muzzy I meane all such lands bought of him or any other, that are on the Norwest side of the river called Egipt River, with all the meadow I bought of Nathaniel Stow and Robert Lord Senior, provided he accept of it five hundred pounds and wheras in the fourth line it is saide I desired the rest of my goods to be equally divided amonst my seaven children I meane lands as well as goods and if any of those my above saide seaven children, should depart this life, before the age of twenty one yeares, of day of Marriage then these portions shall bee equally divided amonst the rest, allwayes provided my eldest son Jeremiah shall have a double portion, and as for my two youngest children, and thee portion I leave to the disposings of my brother Maximillean Jewett, and who he shall apoint when he departeth this life, and I make Execuitors of this my last will and testament my brother Maximillean Jewett and my son Phillip Nellson, my son John Carlton and my son Jeremiah Jewett. MEDWAY - Claire Jean Stanley, 54, wife of Barry Stanley, died Aug. 16, 2011, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Lincoln, daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Allen) Hartford. Claire was a Girl Scout leader and cheerleading coach in Medway for many years. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Jaime. Claire fought a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis for more than 30 years. In addition to her husband, Barry of Medway, she is survived by a daughter, Jaime Green and John of East Millinocket; two grandchildren, Erick and Emma Green of East Millinocket; four siblings, Sylvia Haskell of Naples, Fla., Fred Hartford and Joanne of Burlington, Curtis Hartford and Barbara, and Tim Hartford and Jill, all of Lincoln; mother-in-law, Mildred Stanley of Medway; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl Stanley and Belinda, Phillip Stanley and Brenda, Michelle Stanley, Janet Otis and Ronnie, all of Medway, Pat Stanley and Judy of East Millinocket, and Scotty Stanley of Medway; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Freda; father-in-law, Carl Stanley Sr.; and brothers-in-law, Albert Haskell and Jimmy Stanley. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Grindstone Road Cemetery, Medway. Family and friends may gather after the service at Mildred Stanley's house. 'Thomas Wilder's daughter Mary married Daniel Allen, a cooper in Charlestown, and upon a gift of forty acres of land from her father, they came to Lancaster, bringing children born in Charlestown and Watertown, but after some years of residence returned to Watertown. Their son Ebenezer returned to Lancaster, and his son Ebenezer was a man of note here in revolution ary times. The Allen homestead is in the borders of Clinton, and now occupied by E. A. Currier. Benjamin Allen, who had children born in Lancaster before the massacre, was probably a brother of Daniel.'
