The following Biography is from:
Past and Present of DeKalb County, Illinois, Volume 2, By Lewis M. Gross, H. W. Fay, Pioneer Publishing, Chicago, 1907:
WILLIAM DUFFY
William Duffy, who follows farming in Clinton Township, was born on the 2nd of May, 1854, in the state of New York, his parents being Martin and Bridget Duffy, who are mentioned elsewhere in this work. No event of special importance occurred to vary the routine of farm life for William Duffy in his boyhood days. He was early trained to habits of industry and economy, and these traits have borne rich fruit in his later life. Having arrived at years of maturity he sought a companion and helpmate for life's journey in his marriage to Miss Sarah Boyland, who has indeed been a faithful companion to him. She was born in Clinton Township, May 31, 1854, her parents being natives of Ireland who came to the United States in 1848 and who were farming people of De Kalb County, but who are both now deceased. In their family were nine children, of whom Mrs. Duffy was the second. On the 4th of February, 1879, she gave her hand in marriage to William Duffy, and their union has been blessed with seven children:
Katie, who was born March 9, 1881, and died at the age of seven years;
Mary A., who was born June 7, 1882, and is the wife of Frank McCormick, a farmer of Shabbona township;
Martin, who was born February 22, 1884, and died at the age of four years;
Sadie A., who was born September 12. 1886, and is the wife of Edward McCormick, a resident fanner of Shabbona township;
William A., who was born July 5,1887;
Nellie A., who was born November 4, 1888, and is still at home; and
Anna I., who was born October 24, 1891, and is now attending the Normal School at De Kalb, Illinois.
Mr. Duffy continues the work of tilling the soil and caring for the crops and annually he gathers rich harvests, which are the reward for the care and labor he bestows upon his fields. In politics he is an earnest republican and though never a politician in the sense of office seeking, he has served as school director for six years. He is interested in community affairs to the extent of giving hearty co-operation to many movements which have for their object the welfare of the district, and he and his family are members of St. James Catholic Church at Lee, Illinois.
General Notes: Child - Anna I. Duffy
Was attending the "Normal School" (NIU) at DeKalb, IL, about 1907.

General Notes: Husband - Caleb Boynton Sr.
Caleb Boynton was born April 7, 1650. He married Mary, daughter of
Edmund and Ann Moore, of Newbury, June 24, 1672. She was born in
Newbury, November 30, 1648. He resided first in Newbury, then in
Ipswich until 1695, after which we have no further record of his
family in Massachusetts. Ipswich church records give his death in
1696. Circumstances indicate his son, Caleb, went from Ipswich along
the coast to York, ME, and thence to Wiscasset. ( information from
"Boynton Family", J.F. and C.H. Boynton, 1897)

General Notes: Child - John Boynton
John was baptized April 19, 1676. There are no more records of him in
Massachusetts. Therefore we think he is the John Byington found in
Branford, CT as early as 1716. He went to CT and called his name
Byington, which is found in records October 16, 1710, progenitor of
family in CT who spell the name Byington or Boyington. (Boynton
Family, 1987)

General Notes: Child - Caleb Boynton
Caleb Boynton was born in Ipswich, MA on November 24, 1685. He
married Christian Parsons. In the registry of deeds in Alfred, ME,
one Caleb Boynton of York ME, a "weaver" bought 10 acres of land on
July 6, 1725, and on September 16, 1726 he sold ten acres in York, and
his wife, Christian, signed the deed with him. They also sold land at
different times in 1736, and in 1762, "Christan Boynton, spinstress,
of a place called Wiscasset, Co. of York ME, sold two acres of land
lying in York." There seems little doubt that this was Caleb, Jr,
from Ipswich, and his wife. We have a fragment stating, " a Caleb
Boynton was in Wiscasset in 1750; also one William Boynton in 1754."
In the History of Ancient Sheepscot and Newcastle, ME we find Caleb
and William Boynton petitioners for the incorporation of Whitehaven,
March 22, 1740. This was probably William, the brother of Caleb Jr.,
b 1673. ( information from "Boynton Family", by J/F. and C/H/ Boynton,
1897)

General Notes: Child - William Boynton
William Boynton was born in York, ME, September 12, 1712. He married
Hannah Jones on February 20, 1734. They had one son, Caleb, b. March
28, 1736. There is no record of his wife dying, but he had several
children by Esther Wyman, so we can assume that his first wife died
and he married Esther in 1750 in Wiscasset. Their children were
Rachel, Jane, Hannah, Peltiah, b. in 1759, Joshua, Mary and William,
b. 10/12/1764.
