Daniel came from Hampton and moved to Sanbornton in 1764.
According to the History of Sanbornton Daniel had removed from Amesbury or Salisbury, MA. He lived on 18 Mar 1765 in Sanbornton, Belknap, NH. He lived in 1803 in Dorchester, Grafton, NH. At the town meeting of Sanbornton in March of 1803 the town voted to "put out the keeping of Daniel Fifield and family during their natural lives to Joseph Fifield for a reasonable compensation." The town warrent article is on page 440, the record of the vote on page 444. At this time, son Joseph was in Dorchester. He appeared on the census of 1810 in Dorchester, Grafton, NH. Jonathan was inventoried and taxed in Dorchester from 1801 through 1821. For most of that time he was taxed on one cow. Edward lived at Salisbury, NH and then at Meridan, where he built a large frame house about 1/2 mile from Kimball Union Academy. He served with his brothers in the Revolutionary War. He died age 83. According to the History of Salisbury all of his children were born there and it lists all 12. The History of Plainfield says that Edward operated a tavern in the town, which son Stephen took over just prior to his death, and son Perkey operated in 1847. Ebezener attended Salisbury Academy, and graduated from Dartmouth in 1804. He read medicine with Dr. Nathan Smith of Hanover, then went to practice law with Daniel Webster in Boston. He removed to the vicinity of Bangor, ME but returned to Boston. In the War of 1812 he was a surgeon on the ship Oriole (?) which was captured by the French. He was a prisoner of war in France for 8 months, and came back to Boston in bad health. He taught at the academy in Alexandria, VA and in 1823 was principal of the Belmont school in Boston. Edward lived at Salisbury, NH and then at Meridan, where he built a large frame house about 1/2 mile from Kimball Union Academy. He served with his brothers in the Revolutionary War. He died age 83. According to the History of Salisbury all of his children were born there and it lists all 12. The History of Plainfield says that Edward operated a tavern in the town, which son Stephen took over just prior to his death, and son Perkey operated in 1847. S. L. Fifield appears in Bangor, ME in the 1850 census with wife Mary and 3 children, one of whom is Samuel S. who became a prominent figure in Wisconsin. Samuel S. was a son of Samuel S. aand Naomi Pease and was said to have largely passed his boyhood from the age of 8 with an uncle in Bangor after have been born in Corina, ME.
It is also stated that he was descended from prominent revolutionary ancestors thereby leading strongly back to Colonel Nathaniel.
In a "History of Fifield Family" by Charles L. Fifield of Janesville, WI it says that Samuel (1801) moved to Garland with his father in 1811, but returned to Weare to live with his uncle Jonathan Greeley from the ages of 16 to 21. He then returned to Maine and built a hotel a Morse's Corners in Corina, and removed to Bangor in 1840 where he was in the lumber business "Fifield and Hunt". In 1853 he went west, returned to Massachusetts for a short time, then back to Wisconsin where he lived with son Samuel until his death. He lived at Stratham then moved to East Kingston. (as per The American Genealogist v.16, page 171)
Edward settled in East Kingston about 1727. He belonged to the Militia in all the French and Indian Wars and was called out on many expeditions. According to the family record of Ensign Samuel Fifield the second son, his father died Mar 4 1782 at age 87. Most likely the age was incorrect and should have been stated as 77. In his will Edward left land in the Parish of Hawke to son William. (as per Peter Fifield Wells website Generation four page 9 of 16 printed Jul 22, 1999)

William settled in East Kingston until 1775. Hillsboro Co. deeds show that William of East Kingston purchased 100 acres in Salisbury for $454 recorded 30 Sep 1784.
Probate records show that a William died intestate in Salisbury in 1785, leaving a widow Anna. Salisbury town records show that Anna Fifield moved to Poultney, VT. This tends to confirm East Kingston church record recordings at NH Historical Society showing Samuel baptized in 1770 as William's son. Further confirmation is in an additions and corrections to the history of Andover document at New Hampshire Historical Society, which says Edward, son of William spent time in Poultney and several of his children were born there.

Samuel Fifield, born 14 June 1735, bapt. 13 July 1735, married Ruth Brown, and lived at Hopkinton. He moved to Vermont in 1790, dying at Danville in 1812. He was a soldier in Moses Foster's company in the Revolution. (as per The American Genealogist v.19, page 101)
Samuel lived in East Kingston until 30-35 years old, then became one of the first settlers of Gilmanton in 1769 or 1770. He and wife both died at home of Stephen Randall and daughter Rachel in Danville. Soldier in His Majesty's Service at 18, served during French and Indian Wars and invaded Canada in 1760. Fought under General Stark at battle of Bennington. Title of Ensign. Was a soldier in Moses Foster's company in the Revolution. Edward Fifield born 27 March 1678, married Elizabeth Leavitt, daughter of Moses and Dorothy (Dudley). They lived at Stratham. He is called "Captain " in the records. (as per The American Genealogist, v.15, page 222)
Edward moved to Kingston with brothers John and Joseph, but settled in Strathem in 1708. Edward was Captain of Company No. 13 in Col. Shelburn's Regt. in Her Majesty's Service for many years and a dealer in real estate. He left a will on 16 Feb 1754 in Strathem, Rockingham, NH The will transcribed and annotated by Henry Fifield.
In the name of God, Amen - The sixteenth day of February Anno Qui Dominch, One Thousand seven hundred and fifty four, I, Edward Fifield of Stratham, being well and in bodily health and of a disposing mind and memory, Thanks be given unto God, Therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, That is to say principally and forst of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executor. Nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherein it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, devise and dispense of the same in the following manner and form after my debts and funeral charges are paid -- Witnesseth -- I unto Elizabeth, my dearly beloved wife, the improvement of one-half of all my land in Stratham, aforesaid, both orchard and orchard liand, with mowing, pasturing and pasture lands and the improvements of four acres and a half of salt marsh, I have in Hampton in said Province and the use of my creatures of every sort, all so long as she remains a widow, and in case it should so happen that she should marry again, then to have the improvement of but one third of said land, marshland and creatures. And I give unto my said wife the largest lower room at the east end of my dwelling house and one-third part of my cellar under said house with a privilege in the ovens in said house, and one quarter part of my barns so long as she remains my widow and should it so happen that she should marry again after my decease and become a widow again and should have occasion she shall have the improvement of said house as aforesaid so long as she lives and I also give unto my said wife the whole use and improvement of my household goods during her natural life.
Item-- I give unto my beloved son, Edward Fifield, one fifth part of my wearing apparel "besides what I have given him by deed of gift."

Item-- I give unto my beloved son, Joseph Fifield, his heirs, and assigns all my homestead-viz-my dwelling house and barns in Stratham aforesaid and all my land adjoining thereto, be it more or less, and also four acres and a half fo salt marsh in Hampton aforesaid which I now improve "also a quarter part of my Gilmanton right" and also all my stock of creatures of every sort, excepting only the improvement which his mother, my said wife, is to have as aforesaid and after she has done with them as aforesaid, then he, my son, Joseph, to come into quick possession of all his mother did improve.
I also give unto my son, Joseph, my carts, sleds, plows, chains, and all other of my husbandry tools and all the implements of every sort, whatsoever and also one fifth part of my wearing apparel. He, the said Joseph, paying all my lawful debts, doctor's and funeral charges and also paying all the legacies I shall here-in-after mention.
Item-- I give unto my daughter, Dorothy Fifield, thirty pounds in bills of credit of the old tenor, as old tenor now goes, to be paid her out of my estate by my said son, Joseph Fifield, within 5 years after my decease, besides what I have already given her at the time of her marriage and also one-third part of my household goods after my wife's decease.
Item-- I give unto my grandson, Stephen Fifield, his heirs and assigns, my fifty acre lot in Brentwood in said Province which I bought of William Long. He, the said Stephen, to come into possession of it when he arrives at the age of twenty one years, His mother, the widow of my son, Moses Fifield deceased, to have the improvement of one third part of said fifty acres of land during her widowhood, he the said Stephen paying forty pounds in Bills of Credit, old tenor, as old tenor now goes or other money equal to it to each of his sisters, viz-- "Mehitable", "Martha", "Abigail", "Mary", and "Elizabeth", that is to say, To the said Mehitable, the said forty pounds within one year after he, the said Stephen, is twenty one years of age and to the other four sisters aforesaid their said forty pounds, each to be paid by the said Stephen , within one year after they be eighteen years of age, which said sums I give unto said sisters.
Item-- I give unto my Grandson, Thomas Eastman, thirty pounds of Bills of Credit, of old tenor, as old tenor now goes or in other equal to it, to be paid out of my estate by my son, Joseph Fifield when he the said Thomas comes to be of age of twenty one years.
Item-- I give unto my two Grand Daughters, Sarah and Mary Eastman, one third part of my household goods to be equally divided between them after my said wife's decease and if one of my said granddaughters should die before she comes of age (18 years) the surviving Grand Daughter to have the other part of said household goods.

via interlocking marriages, does not matter how distant.
The difference here is that the interlocking into my data
base would link to over 631,749 people via interlocking
marriages.
My hobby is working on interlocking marriages,to any
family surname that is in my data,and I exchange with
people to find them,and to assist them in finding lineage
that link into their families.

He lived at Stratham then moved to East Kingston. (as per The American Genealogist v.16, page 171)
Edward settled in East Kingston about 1727. He belonged to the Militia in all the French and Indian Wars and was called out on many expeditions. According to the family record of Ensign Samuel Fifield the second son, his father died Mar 4 1782 at age 87. Most likely the age was incorrect and should have been stated as 77. In his will Edward left land in the Parish of Hawke to son William. (as per Peter Fifield Wells website Generation four page 9 of 16 printed Jul 22, 1999)

He lived all his life at Stratham and Brentwood and there is no record of his going to Concord. Benjamin died at "Benjamin Merrill's 17 Apr 1771.

Moses Fifield, born 30 Jul 1709, married 1 Mar 1733, Abigail Fifield at Hampton Falls. He died before 1765 when his father wrote his will. He may have lived in Chester, where his daughter Mehitable later lived. (as per The American Genealogist v. 16, page 172)
General Notes: Child - Jonathan Fifield
He lived at Hampton Falls for a while with his uncle Jonathan. He was the guardian of his sister Mary Eastman's son Ebezener and chief legatee of his uncle Jonathan, who died probably in 1777. He himself died two years later in 1779, having possessed the Fifield homestead at Hampton Falls for but two years and it passed on to his son George. (as per The American Genealogist v. 16, page 173)

Dorothy Fifield was born 23 Aug 1713. According to her father's will she married a Lyford and had three children, Thomas, Mary and Elizabeth. A search of records and printed works suggest the following.
