General Notes: Child - Robert Fifield
Robert lived at Huvelton, NY. and married but had no children according to Henry Fifield of Montpelier. The 1850 census found him and his brother James in Oswegatchie, not far from Huvelton. However, it is obvious from all records that he did indeed have children. He indicated that he was born in NH.
The New York State census of 1865 says that he was married twice, his wife was married once, and she was the mother of two children. It also says his wife was born in VT. He was warned out of Bethel, Windsor, VT, 2 Sep 1817. He left a will on 22 Feb 1877 in Oswegatchie, St. Lawrence, NY; Robert left everything to daughter and executrix Martha Jane Fifield.
