According to the source, Etienne signed a marriage contract on 10 Apr 1711 (17110410PA004528) with Jeanne Baret of the seigneurie de Beaupre, paroisse Ste Anne. Jeanne Baret was the widow of Martin Poulin. Etienne's daughter Agnes married a Jean Poulin, possibly the son of her now step-mother.
He also bought land at Beaupre (chateau Richer) from a Charles Dulaurent, of Quebec on 2 Apr 1748 (p.2 actes notarier)
