"I, Daniel Dehart of the Township of Whitby in the County of York, Home District and Provience of Canada do make and publish this, my last will and testament in manner following. It is my will and I do hereby order and direct my Executors hereinafter named to pay my just debts with my funeral charges and the expenses of settling my estate.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Dehart all the residue and remainder of my personal estate after my Debts are paid, to be it her own disposal and also the use of all my real estate for her support during the term of her natural life.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my sons John Dehart, Daniel Dehart, Jr. and Jacob Dehart and my daughter Sophia Cook, the sum of five Shillings Currency each; I having heretofore given each of them fifty acres of land.
Item: I give and bequeath unto the heirs of Lucinda Mulloy the sum of five Shillings Currency. She also having had fifty acres of my land.
Item: I give and divise unto my other children Elizabeth Coolidge, Polly Saunders and Thomas Dehart their heirs and assigns the farm I now live on, being composed of the South East part of Lot No. thirty five in the broken front of the Township of Whitby aforesaid containing by admeasurement fifty acres of land be the same more or less to be divided equally between them. Share and share alike to be divided immediately after the death of my widow.
Lastly, I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son Jacob Dehart and Nicholas Austin both of the Township of Pickering in the County,

Roger I (circa 1031-1101), Norman conqueror of Sicily. Born in Normandy, Roger joined his elder brother Robert Guiscard in southern Italy (1057), helping him to win control of that region from the Byzantines. In 1061 he and Robert captured the Sicilian town of Messina from its Muslim rulers, and over the next three decades Roger gradually extended Norman power at the expense of the various Muslim states on theisland, completing conquest of Sicily in 1091. While Robert was alive, the brothers shared control of both Sicily and the Italian mainland; after his death in 1085, Roger made himself ruler of Sicily, leaving the other Norman domains to Robert's son, Roger of Apulia (circa 1060-1111). He adopted the title of count and was made papal legate in Sicily by Pope Urban II in1098. Roger introduced Catholicism into Sicily but was tolerant of his Muslim and Greek Orthodox subjects. His son, Roger II, founded the kingdom of Sicily. Mileto, Calabria [Italy]), count of Sicily from 1072. He was the last son of the second marriage of Tancred of Hauteville. In his conquest of Calabria from the Byzantines (1060). They began the conquest of Sicily from various Muslim rulers in 1061 with the capture of Messina, and they completed it in 1091. The turning point of the struggle was the capture of Palermo in1072, when Robert invested Roger as his vassal with the county of Sicily and Calabria with a limited right to govern and to tax. After Robert's death Roger acquired full right to govern from Robert's son and in 1098 received the title of apostolic legate from Pope Urban II, which gave him control of the church in Sicily. At his death, Roger had created a centralized ,efficient government, where the authority of the count was unchallenged.
