from HISTORY OF CHARLES DIXON, One of the Early English Settlers of Sackville, N(ew) B(runswick) (1891), Compiled by James D. Dixon -- A Grandson, p.140-141:
"RUTH DIXON, fourth daughter of Charles and Susannah Coates Dixon, married Thomas Roach in the year 1793. Mr. and Mrs. Roach settled at Fort Lawrence where Mr. Roach owned a large and valuable property. He was also engaged in Merchandise and subsequently in shipbuilding. Mr. Roach was elected to the Provincial Parliament in 1799 and occupied a set in that body until 1826, having been elected five times in succession. Mr. Roach was a Methodist Local Preacher of more than ordinary ability and a liberal supporter of Methodist and benevolent institutions. The family of Thomas and Ruth Dixon Roach consisted of the following, viz:
John - born 1794
Susannah D. - born 1795
Jean - born 1797
Charles D. - born 1800
Mary - born 1802
Thomas - born 1805
Edward - born 1807
Mrs. Roach died in March 1810, in the 38th year of her age. In a memoir of her, written by her husband, it is stated that about one week previous to her death she was taken ill and complained of a severe pain in her side, and that medical aid was not obtained for about three days. When her brother-in-law, Dr. Rufus Smith, was called, who bled her on the occasion of his first visit, which was on Sunday and again on Monday, and again on Tuesday, and that Mrs. Roach died the following Thursday. Doubtless the medical treatment she received would be very unfavorably regarded at the present day, yet there is no room to doubt that Dr. Smith did all in his power to arrest the progress of the disease and save the life of one so greatly beloved and esteemed, with whom he and his family were so nearly connected. Mr. Roach says of her that she was a devoted Christian woman and died in the faith of the Gospel.
Mr. Roach was subsequently married, first, to a widow lady, Mrs. Sarah Allan, and after her death, to a Miss Mary Dickson of Onslow, N.S., and after her decease to a Miss Charlotte Wells, who survived him several years. None of the three last wives left children. Mr. Roach died in 1833, aged 65 years."

Mr. Roach was subsequently married, first, to a widow lady, Mrs. Sarah Allan, and after her death, to a Miss Mary Dickson of Onslow, N.S., and after her decease to a Miss Charlotte Wells, who survived him several years. None of the three last wives left children. Mr. Roach died in 1833, aged 65 years."

son of John Roach and Jean or Jane ____.
from HISTORY OF CHARLES DIXON, One of the Early English Settlers of Sackville, N(ew) B(runswick) (1891), Compiled by James D.

Born in Florida, possible Gainsville. Attended the University of Florida, graduating with a degree in aeronautics ~1937. He married Thelma Roberson shortly after. Arthur wanted to sign up for military service when the US entered Word War II, but his expertise in aeronautics was considered too value, and he spent most of the war time years working on military projects in the Newport News, VA area.
Arthur and Thelma divorced ~1945. Arthur took the three oldest children with him to La Jolla, CA (anothing military job, it seems) around 1945. Arhtur was hoping for a reconcilliation when Thelma drove to California ~1945. To his suprise, Thelma had a new husband (Walter Kent) in tow and took the children with her back to Ohio.
Walter eventually remarried Olna Jefferson. She had children from a previous relationship. They settled in Tennesse where he died in the fall of 1990. Olna survived him.

I exchange data with people who have a interlocking marriage
into any surnames that interlocks into any of the branches
of my families.I started when I was 10 years old now 68years.
I am sharing my data in the interest of collaborative research.
I do this to help people to find there lineages and to fill
the pedigree charts.
I have not personally researched all families listed; dates
and information are subject to verification. Not responsible
for typographical errors misplaced citations. Missing
sources/references are because of my learning curve, not my
intention. You are encouraged to seek further documention
for your own confirmation.Further I have no control what
other people include about their families in any of the
data that they exchange.
If there are no dates about the living, then the computers
can not determine if the person is alive or deceased.
The sites set the living anywhere from 75 to 100 years
depending on the laws of the countries that they are in.
When I exchange with lineages the living are sometime shown
depending on who you are exchanging with, but my
request is that,if you update any of my data to the
internet, you also set the do not show the living, before
you update to the internet.
Also place in the source your contact email
address, and the lineage, so people can contact you
reqarding your update.
I have no claim to owning the data, except that which is
my immediate lineage, and even that is worked on by many
members of my family lineages. It is only as good as what
people put into it,that exchange with me. So look
in the notes of the genealogy for origin, if they put it
there,or the source.
If you are going to correct, update or put new branches on the
lineage your are inquirying about, please do not add from what
I have sent you,(This just duplicates how many more people
I have to find in the duplicates and merge them, edit your
notes to ensure that there is nothing there that you do not
want published.
Also do not submit information on copyrights that invades the
privacy of others especially for a relative that has not given
you permission to publish same.
Remember nothing is carved in stone except time.
The best way for me to describe the relationship, is for
example if you have 6,000 people in your data base
that are connected via interlocking marriages, and
you find that you have a marriage that is interlocked into
one of my people in my data base, then they are related
via interlocking marriages, does not matter how distant.
The difference here is that the interlocking into my data
base would link to over 631,749 people via interlocking
marriages.
My hobby is working on interlocking marriages,to any
family surname that is in my data, and I exchange with
people to find them, and to assist them in finding lineage
that link into their families.
