1787 John (III)Quint sold to Caleb Ford his land and the land of his foather,
at this father's death for 105 lbs., money loaned ot John, Jr. in 1774. (York
Co. Deeds, vol 46, p.224) In 1790 John III was residing in No. Berwick and
had 1 male over 16, 1male under 16, and 4 females in family. In 1795 he moved
to 7mile Brook (later Anson). He was a yeoman and fiddler.

General Notes: Child - Luther Quint
He moved with his family from North Berwick, ME to Anson about 1795. In 1807
John Quint, Jr. sold his property to Luther. In 1812, Luther was taxed for 5
acres moving, 4 acres tillage, 4 acres pasturing, 113 acres wild, 2 oxen, 4
cows, 2 yearlings, 2horses, 3 swine. In 1832 he sold his property to his
oldest son, John 2nd, and moved his family to Hodgdon, ME, and resided on
the Walker road until his death. He divided his farm between his sons, Edwin
and Calvin, and in 1947 George Quint resided on the farm.
