DAIGLE, Adrian 'Pete', 86
SINCLAIR - Adrian "Pete" Daigle, 86, died Aug. 1, 2001, at his residence. He was born June 7, 1915, in St. Agatha, the son of Regis and Alice (Cyr) Daigle. He started maple sugar camp, operated it for 40 years, then founded Pete's Maple Grove & Club. He worked for the soil conservation for 18 years, and was a member of the Sinclair Volunteer Fire Dept. from 1948 to 1980. He is survived by his wife, Rita J. (Bard) Daigle of Sinclair; two sons, Ronald of Stonington and Jimmy of Sinclair; two daughters, Mrs. Rocky (Pat) Fralliciardi of St. David and Linda L. and her husband, Mark of St. Agatha; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bertha (Pelletier) Dufour of St. Francis. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Emile, Donat and Albert; four stepbrothers, Arthur Dufour, Lionel Dufour, Joe Dufour and Bertrand Dufour; and three sisters, Irene, Alma and Lorette. At his request, there will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Aug. 18, 2001, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sinclair, with the Rev. Mike Doucette officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

GRAND FALLS, New Brunswick – Marie Jeanne "Jeannette" Martin, 81, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at a Grand Falls health care facility. She was born Sept. 27, 1924, in St. Michel, New Brunswick, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Beatrice (Bard) Parent. Jeannette is survived by five children, Jocelyne Martin of Bangor, Roger Martin and his wife, Dianne, of Denver, Colo., Gilles Martin and his wife, Idabelle, of Medway, Anne Marie Porter and her husband, Mike, of Wisconsin and Lise Budden of Bangor; eight grandchildren, Crystal, Heath, Jeremy, Jeff, Alyssa, Jason, Kyle and Ryan; two great-grandchildren, Audrianna and Hunter Martin; four brothers, Gerard Parent of Nova Scotia, Jean Parent of Willimantic, Conn., Robert Parent of Waterford, Conn., and Louis "Regent" Parent of Charleston, S.C.; three sisters, Carmel Guitard of Meriden, Conn., Viola Mazzerole of Limestone and Alva Martin of Meriden, Conn.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harmidas Martin (1911 - 1964)
; her second husband, Pius Martin; and a brother, Neil Parent. At Jeannette's request, funeral services will be private. Interment will be at the East Millinocket Cemetery. Mme Rioux était membre du Club des Vrais Amis de Grand-Sault.
Elle laisse dans le deuil trois fils, Cyril (Angélina) et Gérard (Virginie) de Drummond et Daniel (Jacqueline) de Saint-André, une fille, Lucille Rioux de Grand-Sault, belle-fille, Stella Rioux (feu Joseph) deGrand-Sault, gendre, Bertrand Morin (feu Cécile) de Drummond, 11 petits-enfants, 14 arrière-petits-enfants, ainsi que des neveux et nièces.Elle a été précédée par un fils, Joseph et une fille, Cécile Morin.
La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon Guy O’Regan, 515, boul. Everard Daigle à Grand-Sault. Ses funérailles auront lieu le samedi 5 avril à 14h en l’église Saint-Michel de Drummond, et l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial. Les heures des visites seront vendredi de 19h à 21h, et samedi de12h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles. Pour ceux qui le désirent, on demande de faire un don à la Banque alimentaire régionale de Grand-Sault.
